Radiology research center established in 2009 at the Medical Imaging Center of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the Novel and Interventional Radiology Research Center has emerged as the country's premier institution dedicated to advancing the field of radiology.

Objectives:

• Knowledge Advancement: Developing and applying human knowledge in radiology.
• Healthcare Improvement: Conducting basic clinical and epidemiological research to enhance Iran's healthcare system.
• Documentation and Publication: Collecting, organizing, and classifying relevant documents, articles, and records, and publishing them.
• Human Resource Development: Training researchers in radiological sciences.
• Encouraging and Motivating Researchers: Providing support and incentives for researchers.
• International Collaboration: Fostering scientific cooperation with research and educational centers worldwide.

Achievements:

Since its inception, the center has successfully executed numerous research projects in collaboration with domestic and international institutions, including the University of San Diego. These efforts have resulted in the publication of numerous articles and presentations in reputable international and domestic journals and conferences.
