History 

The Advanced Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology Research Center(ADIR) was established in 2009 as a pioneer in radiology research within the country. Having obtained the necessary licenses in 2009 and 2012, it quickly became one of the main hubs for radiology research in Iran.

Located within the Medical Imaging Center and collaborating closely with radiology departments of medical universities across the country, the center has provided a suitable platform for conducting innovative research in radiology. Furthermore, its ongoing collaboration with the Iranian Journal of Radiology has significantly contributed to the advancement of this scientific field.

The Advanced Diagnostic Interventional Radiology Research Center has achieved remarkable success through the implementation of dozens of research projects in collaboration with domestic and international centers. Some of these achievements include contributing to the establishment of the Iranian Journal of Radiology and obtaining the ISI index for this journal.

By forming interdisciplinary expert groups, the center seeks to expand scientific collaborations with other medical fields and conduct joint research projects. The future vision of this center is to become an international reference in the field of radiology and provide innovative services to patients.
